Are you bored of your admin role and want to learn new skills? Get paid to go on a course and learn how to do project submissions using InDesign Why is this role for you? Let's be honest, doing admin work in an office can sometimes get a bit boring. Day in, day out it's the same old thing and there isn't much opportunity for you to learn new skills. You fancy a change. A new challenge. And this role may be right up your alley. You enjoy working on computers and believe you can pick up using new software quickly. Like InDesign for example. In this role, you'd go on a 2-day course to get the basics of how to use Indesign which you'll use to produce submission and bid documents for a construction company. In time, your skills will improve as you learn more and you'll soon be working on projects ranging from $1-$100million in value. Meaning you'd be making a big difference to the success of the company which will give you job satisfaction. You’ll be around a team of 9 in the office (110 in the business) and your boss has been there 17 years (even doing this role herself at one point) so you’ll be looked after and shown how to do things the right way. What will you like about working here? All the staff love the yearly $300 subsidy to put towards their health and fitness hobbies each year and if you enjoy sport, it’s an office of cyclists, runners, swimmers, and footy tipsters so there is always something going on. You may enjoy the quarterly events like axe throwing, meals out and bowling; the team like to bond outside work as well as in it. Initially, the salary is in the $70k-$85k super range, there is free parking nearby or you are a stone’s throw away from Pymble station if public transport is your thing. There will be a big of admin in the role such as answering calls, assisting with event manager, attending visitors, ordering stock etc but the majority of the time you'd be working on submissions. This sounds perfect, but what do you expect from me?
