Reliability Engineer — Camira, Ipswich

Summary Can work with limited supervision on assigned tasks with standard techniques to build on basic knowledge and develop skills in specific practice areas. Interacts with clients and client organisations and has an understanding of how maintenance management is executed. Understands project management practices and is responsible for project delivery. Role Purpose A Reliability Engineer Level 2 performs engineering services for customers to meet profit, quality and customer satisfaction targets. The Reliability Engineer generally works with limited supervision to a project plan with the capability to adjust that plan as necessary to achieve customer satisfaction targets General Characteristics Acquires basic knowledge and develops skills in a specific practice area. Applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment. Exercises limited judgment on details of work and in application of standard methods for conventional work. Demonstrated Behaviours Regularly exceeds expectations and has a focused personal development plan which aligns to ARMS Purpose Demonstrates interpersonal awareness and actively seeks to enhance the value of their own efforts Demonstrates high integrity in all environments, proactively identifying future needs of others', ARMS and themselves Essential Knowledge/Qualifications/Skills Strong computer literacy, proficient in use of Microsoft office products particularly excel and access Competent in data analysis applications and a working knowledge of maintenance control databases Trained in project management approaches and software, and able to demonstrate competency in all stages of project execution Desirable Knowledge/Qualifications/Skills Degree-qualified in an Engineering discipline Trained in using Isograph Software range Trained in using OnePM Understanding of ASM Experience At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in maintenance / reliability within the mining, processing, oil & gas, utilities or manufacturing industries Experienced in the application of reliability methods and techniques gained within relevant industry Experienced in data analysis including extraction from various data sources the ability to summarize data into conclusions Experienced in working as part of a project team and have a working knowledge of the project elements including timelines, deliverables and budgets Business Skills Business Communication Influence and negotiation skills Project Management Engineering Due Diligence Time Management Delivering Engineering Services Undertake and ensure effective application of Reliability Studies using various Reliability Methods including but not limited to OnePM, Isograph AWB, Fault Tree, FMECA, Lifecycle Cost Calculations, and Root Cause Analysis Competently facilitate problem solving sessions Responsible for Executing Work Processes for allocated Projects Ensure that projects meet budget, schedule and quality outcomes Client Interface Regularly liaise with clients, and maintain positive relations Management of project budgets, timelines & deliverables where they fall into your areas of responsibility Estimate project steps and resources Liaise with client to ensure timely communications, regular project status and proactive issue handling Establish and maintain a project log as per defined standards Report project status at weekly intervals (internally & externally) Data Handling and IT skills Develop value added data handling solutions and continuously improve understanding and application of Reliability methods and OnePM to enhance the formulation of client solutions and find better ways of delivery our services and utilizing our software Managing Time, Budgets and Deliverables Maintain project logs, ensuring accurate reporting of time and expenses for the entire project to support the company's invoicing and payroll processes Ensure all company required administrative tasks are completed before they are due. Report project status at weekly intervals (internally & externally) Typical Competencies Ability to work effectively with colleagues and managers, co-operate with others and builds positive relationships both internally and externally to ARMS Ability to work within project timeline and budget and plans and organises work to complete tasks. Ensures checks and controls are in place to allow work to be delivered on time, accurately and complete Takes the initiative to solve problems, makes informed decisions and works with limited supervision.
