The Role: We are seeking a local Driver to join the team in the Gatton depot for pickup and delivery work. The role available is a dayshift position and does require some weekend work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of freight. Primary duties of the role include: Working with temperature sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runs Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology Interacting with clients in a professional manner Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight About You: The candidates we are looking for will have: Have a current & valid HR, HC or MC licence. Must be able to work weekends. Possess fatigue management training competency. Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
