Find a career that matters and lasts As a Line Layout Designer, you'll provide line layout design and drafting services in the discipline of transmission lines. You'll contribute towards project scoping, estimating, line engineering survey and the co-ordination of minor line projects. You'll also: Perform transmission line layout designs and detailed PLS_Cadd design services/analysis for both Powerlink and external Customer Projects. Provide technical layout design intelligence and support to internal and external project stakeholders and manage external contractors to ensure compliance with design quality standards. Perform the Primary Layout Design Team’s “Responsible Person” role as the first point of contact for design, scoping, budgeting and timing of services delivery Ensure that layout designs and associated activities provide value for money, are cost efficient, on time and on budget whilst complying with approved procedures and aesthetical requirements Your expertise Associate Diploma in Survey, Electrical or Civil Engineering Working knowledge and competence in PLS CADD design, in particular the application of Finite Element principles.
