Job Description: Exhibit exceptional proficiency in textile design, ensuring designs are visually captivating and optimized for efficient production. Develop placement print designs that align with pattern markers and undergo accurate grading. Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere by sharing expertise and creative insights with design and production teams. Your ability to seamlessly collaborate with cross-functional teams is pivotal in bringing their collections to fruition. Remain at the forefront of emerging textile design trends and techniques. Embrace innovation, experiment with novel ideas, and adapt to evolving industry standards. Maintain the brands dedication to quality by meticulously reviewing and refining textile designs to meet exacting standards. Safeguard the brands' visual identity, ensuring designs are not only on-brand but also challenge conventional norms while maintaining the brand's distinct style. Occasionally undertake duties outside your specific function to contribute to overall business success. Key Performance Indicators: Timely Completion of Production Artwork Alignment of Textile Designs Effectively manage time, meet project deadlines, and prioritize tasks according to design and production team needs. Quality Control: Achieve a high rate of approval from design and production teams. Stay updated with industry trends and regularly incorporate new ideas. Required Skills: Passion for Textile Design: Strong desire to work in the textile design field. Previous Experience: Prior experience as a Junior Textile Designer is preferred. Expertise in Placement Prints: Experience with placement prints and grading placements is highly desirable. Portfolio Showcase: A portfolio demonstrating your skillset and unique style is required. Proficiency in Software: Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail is essential.
