We are looking for a Senior ICT Engineer to join our Victorian Building Engineering team, in either Melbourne or Geelong. The role will provide you with the ability to collaborate with clients to solve challenges in remote communications, smart buildings, and digital transformation, and a platform to continue growing your leadership, project management and consulting skills. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Lead the ICT design and delivery on projects, responsible for project costing, client engagement and briefing, development of technical solutions, documentation of design and specifications, and liaising with contractors during construction. Designing passive infrastructure (structured cabling systems) and active IT networks - including IP, Wi-Fi, radio communications, LAN, WAN, VoIP, Wireless and audio-visual systems Recommending and delivering innovative and robust technical solutions to projects Working in large multi-disciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects in the Transport, Defence, and Property & Buildings sectors. Liaising with clients and building client relationships Engaging in developing proposals and supporting our Market Leaders in major bids Opportunity to travel and work across projects nationally Mentoring young professionals in the team. What would you bring to the team? Bachelor's degree in engineering, majoring in Electronics, Computer Systems, Telecommunications, Communications Systems or an associated discipline. 5-10 years' relevant experience delivering telecommunications solutions in the built environment. Defence, Campus or Intelligent Transport Systems experience viewed favourably. Demonstrated experience leading and delivering ICT designs and consulting services within a Buildings environment. Sound understanding of current telecommunications technologies, relevant standards and installation practices. Proactive, professional, collaborative and personable approach. Must be an Australian Citizen and currently eligible to obtain and hold an Australian Government security clearance. Interested?
