You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children. You'll achieve this by: Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team always Engaging and supervising the children Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement About Goodstart Kurri Kurri: Our centre is in the local community of Kurri Kurri in the Hunter Valley only a stone's throw away from Kurri Kurri Public School and is within walking distance from the local shops, library and park. We educate and care for children between six weeks and six years old across five indoor learning spaces. The learning environments at Goodstart Kurri Kurri are designed with a focus on natural, home like environments that create a sense of calm, belonging and being. Our nursery learning space caters for children between the ages of 0-2yrs. These loving and home like environments provide spaces that make the children feel safe and secure and encourages them to explore the world around them. We have an effective indoor/outdoor program that allows the educators to support our baby's flexible routines. We have the same group of educators with the children to ensure opportunities are made for the children to build and form stable, secure attachments throughout their nursery years.
