AutoCAD Designer (Mid to Senior Level) - Department of Transport and Main Roads Location: Onsite in Brisbane, Australia Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Brisbane Time Zone (full-time) The Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer to join our multidisciplinary team. As an integral part of our team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of concept, planning, and detail design projects for transport infrastructure projects in the region. Your expertise will ensure the successful completion of projects while adhering to relevant policies, standards, and guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Develop transport infrastructure designs in various phases of project delivery. Ensure compliance with policies, standards, guidelines, and legislation. Review designs provided by external consultancy services. Provide technical support and advice to stakeholders. Undertake planning and design functions for infrastructure projects. Implement suitable design processes for project delivery. Report to the Team Leader or Principal Designer. Requirements Proficiency in 12d design and AutoCAD design . Adherence to quality management procedures. Preparation of contract documentation, project specifications, drawings, and cost estimates. Contribution to teamwork and fostering a positive attitude. Monitoring project timeframes and prioritizing tasks. Maintenance of relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements. Mandatory Requirements: Compliance with the Ethical Supplier Threshold and Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct. Successful completion of a Criminal History Check (CHC) within the last 12 months. Evaluation Criteria: Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant road design. TMR Experience: Experience with TMR projects, design standards, policies, processes, and CADD software.
