Construction Administrator — Parramatta, Parramatta Area

Seeking an experienced Construction Administrator to join a growing and dynamic Ground Engineering firm in Sydney. Our client, a reputable and expanding Ground Engineering contractor specialising in design and construction services including piling, grouting, earth retention, civil construction, and civil/geotechnical engineering, is in search of a committed Administrator with minimum of 4 years of practical experience. Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to assist with the administration the of managing multiple construction teams working in geographically diverse areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional organisational abilities, and a natural ability to get things done. Responsibilities Comply with Internal Management System, attending and reporting at safety and planning meetings. Man Planning, allocation of staff to projects and communicating the same Machinery Scheduling, allocating machinery to projects under the guidance of Senior Managers Programming and recording machinery maintenance Internal Machinery Recovery, recording machinery hours to projects Plant packing machinery ready for site Maintaining machinery prestart repairs register and Trello. Sending online Principal Contracting induction process to construction team and recording when applicable Maintaining maintenance and other registers in line with IMS Compliance, including the machinery maintenance and task to-do-list on tv screen. Arranging employee construction training Maintain staff training records Maintain staff licences / certificate and VOC registers Advising Construction Administration Assistant on booking construction accommodation and travel requirements, and providing support where required. Maintain other registers; e.g. calibration certificates and records – as advised by responsible persons. WHS&E Meeting; training record report and update, assisting as needed on Agenda & Minutes Raising purchase orders Coordinating the onboarding of new employees Data Entry / Quickbooks when / if applicable -general accounting support. Assist other members of the PCA team on an adhoc basis when and if required. Comply with PCA safety, environmental and quality policies and not enter into unsafe behaviour. Requirements: Proven experience in construction administration Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment - preferable Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
