About the Role Reporting to the Area Manager of Construction Assessment & Delivery Services, and based at Melbourne Water’s 990 La Trobe Street, Dockland Office, this 5 month opportunity a pivotal role within the Urban Planning & Development department. As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of Development Services Schemes (DSS) Assets, such as Retarding Basins, Constructed Wetlands and Waterways, Pipeline and culverts. Conduct thorough review and analysis of the detailed design of DSS assets to ensure alignment with project objectives and specifications. Employ effective project management methodologies to oversee the successful execution of tasks, timelines, and resources allocation. Mitigate potential risks through proactive risk management strategies, including identification, assessment, and mitigation plans. Champion customer service excellence by cultivating strong relationships with developers, consultants, councils, and Melbourne Water stakeholders Foster collaborative partnerships to ensure stakeholders' needs are met and expectations are exceeded throughout the project lifecycle. About you: Relevant tertiary qualification in civil / land development / environment engineering required. Project Management and risk management A current Victorian driver’s licence. A criminal records check. Salary: MW EA Level 6.
