Your new role: Reporting to the Modern Workplace Engineering Manager, the Modern Workplace Operations Engineer (EUC) is a hands-on technical specialist role, focusing on the operational management and continuous improvement of the Fund's End User Computing (EUC) technology and services. This role includes operational management, technical engineering, and continuous improvement, as well as ensuring alignment to the Fund's processes, standards, and best practices. The role involves working collaboratively with other Technology Services colleagues, including architects, systems engineers, and delivery teams. Key duties include but are not limited to: You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by: Providing operational support for Funds EUC & M365 services, including incident resolution and problem management Assisting in the development, deployment, and monthly servicing of Funds EUC and M365 services and user applications to maintain compliance with security and vulnerability standards Providing development and operation support for EUC Intune and Group Policy management Managing and maintaining documentation for all EUC & M365 services Identifying and developing innovative solutions to enhance technology experiences across the Fund, with a focus on automation to improve operational stability and efficiency. You will foster and maintain internal relationships across all levels of the Fund, proactively keeping stakeholders informed on key issues or escalations. Ensuring adherence to relevant governance structures, policies, and processes, advocating for continuous improvement Managing risks according to the Fund's Risk Management Framework, including risk identification, profiling, reporting, and incident management Implementing robust risk controls on processes, policies, and systems to minimize breaches, and promoting a team culture of compliance and risk management awareness. What you'll need: 5 years of experience in technical operations roles, with a focus on EUC services within a complex technical environment. Thorough understanding of security best practices and standards related to cloud computing and access management.
