Your Role : You will be responsible for leading, and managing a team of Geotechnical Engineers. You will be required to work with your team to deliver projects, provide advice and technical support to a high standard, on time and within budget to CMW clients. Your positive contribution to company culture will be paramount, we value and encourage strong and effective communication, collaborative teamwork and practical solutions. Otherwise your duties will also include: Understand the market sectors, drivers and competitors your team operates in or has the vision to operate in. Ensure that your team is providing the appropriate range and quality of services to CMW clients. Report positive and negative feedback to relevant staff and direct implementation of any rectification measures Lead your team in the completion of Project Management activities including budget and quality control, timely collection of debtors and regular updates of the forward order book Continuously keep up to date with advancements applicable to your team within the local and international industry Maintain high technical standards and a professional work ethic Your Profile : To thrive in this pivotal role, you should hold a qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field coupled with a minimum of 8 years' of experience in a Geotechnical Engineering field. Your proven track record in conducting and planning site investigations and geotechnical consultancy projects will set you apart. Those with existing design experience or a strong willingness to develop these skills will be highly regarded. Ideally you will hold CPEng or working towards attaining it. Your arsenal should also include effective communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
