Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join a reputable aviation organisation. Our client is a reputable and trusted aviation organisation which is currently seeking a highly motivated Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Based in Adelaide, this role is primarily responsible for providing high quality, responsive and pro-active technical support to customers and performing aircraft maintenance. Furthermore, another crucial component of this position is ensuring that work is undertaken safely and in line with industry best practice standards. At times, you will be required to travel interstate and overseas to visit customers. Other key responsibilities for this role include: Perform aircraft maintenance IAW the provisions of the aircraft approved maintenance data; Ensure all necessary parts and materials are fit for purpose, in conjunction with Stores personnel; Ensure work is carried out safely and report all defects or faults; Providing aircraft specific technical, manufacture and modification advice to a range of stakeholders. Skills, Knowledge and Experience The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who possesses strong interpersonal skills and is able to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. You will possess decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team. The successful candidate will hold the relevant type rated aircraft maintenance licence with technical background across all aspects of aircraft systems and possess relevant field experience in aircraft maintenance, manufacture and modifications, with the ability to troubleshoot aircraft systems. Sound interpersonal skills and proficient English communication skills are required, and an understanding of German is advantageous but not essential. Furthermore, demonstrated experience using aviation software packages is highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess at least 5 years of relevant work experience within the same or a similar role.
