If you have either recently completed your Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Avionics or have experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer working on Military or Commercial Aircrafts - we want to talk with you. Ideally you will have a background in Defence, but all aviation backgrounds will be considered, i.e. civil aviation, fixed wing, helicopters, etc. Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the program Team Leader, you will carry out both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance according to your trade type, Avionics: Manage the maintenance of avionic systems and components through routine inspections and fault diagnosis Communicate across the team and at various levels to ensure your Team Leader is informed of all defects, deficiencies, and maintenance errors as they occur Record all details of work performed and ensure the appropriate maintenance and technical documentation is utilised to ensure compliance What you bring: Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (or near completion) (Mandatory) Australian Citizen with ability to obtain an AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance Experience or a strong interest in working with Military Aircraft Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment.
