Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer — Bunbury Region, Western Australia

Overview Join our client's team as a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer and play a vital role in delivering major projects across WA. Technical Responsibilities Drive E&I design activities across project phases. Review and approve engineering documents and deliverables. Ensure final design meets project intent and quality standards. Support Safety in Design activities and resolve action items. Evaluate business cases for E&I designs. Manage information and handover of documentation. Execution Responsibilities Provide input to construction activities and safety auditing. Support project management deliverables and Operational Readiness process. Execute the Commissioning process when required. Ensure interface requirements for change management are documented. Conduct site assurance of construction activities. Occasional travel to company assets or vendor premises may be required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering Minimum 8 years of experience in E&I engineering role with relevant industry experience. Electrical Power qualifications (MV/HV) Proficiency in Safety in Design principles and project management. Strong communication and leadership skills. About you You will be an experienced Electrical engineer with in-depth knowledge of industrial processes and Instrumentation systems, control systems, electrical machinery and switchgear, power generation and distribution, Electrical & Control modelling. You will have extensive knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation engineering methodologies, tools and softwares (AutoCAD and Navisworks, or similar). You will be living near Bunbury, WA (preferred). You will have knowledge of High-Voltage systems and equipment (desirable). You will have knowledge and experience implementing Management of Engineering Change. You will have sound understanding of AS/NZS Standards and relevant international standards. You will have strong numerical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating objective and critical thinking with well-developed strategic planning skills.
