The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for developing and sustaining our test automation framework across various testing areas, including UI, API, integration, and performance. This position involves hands-on, technical work as you will build systems and tooling at the organizational level to enhance the testing capabilities of the company. In this role, you will continuously create automation scripts and suites, as well as improve and develop CI infrastructure at the platform level. You will have the freedom to select and implement the most effective solutions to establish a vision for a testing platform as a service. Additionally, you will explore non-functional testing domains such as accessibility, SEO, and security while advancing testing tools and approaches. This position is centered more on the testing platform aspect rather than collaborating within a development team on user-facing changes. You will play a significant role in realizing the vision of a testing service platform. You'll have: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Familiarity with UI testing frameworks like Cypress and performance testing frameworks such as k6. Comprehensive understanding and experience with various testing methods, including unit, integration, system, end-to-end, UAT, and PVT testing. An understanding of how to structure and distribute tests across different levels. Proven ability to research and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues in a production environment. In-depth experience with version control tools such as Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, code reviews, and more. Knowledge and experience with cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with content management systems like AEM. Experience with collaborative programming alongside developers and functional testers in automation testing. Experience with mobile app automation and cross-browser testing tools would be beneficial.
