In 2015, Tingalpa State School commenced a French Australian Bilingual Program which expanded to Whites Hill State College in 2023. Tingalpa State School is co-educational and has students from Prep to Year 6. The focus of the French Australian Bilingual Program is to provide excellent teaching and learning environments which allow children to achieve academic success and develop positive social and emotional skills. Students use the languages of English and French while also developing cultural understanding of Francophone communities. We are seeking a passionate, experienced and innovative teacher to work in the French Australian Bilingual Program, starting 8 July 2024.The successful applicant would be required to demonstrate effective classroom management, deliver engaging curriculum to primary school-aged students and work collaboratively with the year level team and the French Bilingual team.
