The Administration Officer in ADS Support Line will provide timely and accurate administrative/transactional services for members of the health care team on designated ward(s)/unit(s) under the direction of a local manager and Administration Manager. The Admin Officer will work under broad supervision but will be required to work independently and use their own initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures. Decisions affecting the overall functioning and management of the service remain the responsibility of the Manager. About you: We are seeking a skilled and energetic Clinical Support Officer who possess a passion for person centred care. Demonstrated front line customer service skills conducive with the values of St Vincent's Health Network Demonstrated computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, database software, email and an electronic clinical information system including HR administration, payroll, PR and office management. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and by phone). Demonstrated effective time management and problem-solving skills. Experience in working in a health care setting, including knowledge of client administration systems and the ability to be compassionate and demonstrated sensitive approach if/when dealing with vulnerable clients and carers, including a commitment to maintain confidentiality at all times.
