ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE As Civil Discipline Leader, your key focus will be to apply and develop your technical skills to creatively tackle complex engineering problems and whilst empowering your team You will have a high degree of responsibility, traversing: Team leadership - lead, grow and empower the team through hiring, mentoring and sharing insights Manage projects (including resource, financial and risk aspects), ensuring the delivery of high-quality results from proposals through to project completion documentation. Design process - civil design works for urban development including building projects, subdivision, roads, pavements and public domains areas. Oversight hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, water quality modeling, design of minor and major drainage systems, design of OSD systems and WSUD strategy development. Manage and develop key client relationships through the delivery of high-quality work and great client and project partner experiences Interface management, preparing technical reports and liaison with clients, authorities and sub-consultants daily Contribute to the development of business goals, initiatives, and targets in line with the business strategy ABOUT YOU We are looking for strong communicators with a solid understanding of civil engineering and proven experience. 10-15 years' experience in engineering in Australia, particularly design experience Professional Engineer (CPEng) with an advanced understanding of the Australian Building Codes and standard and their practical application, conversant with Autocad Civil 3D, 12D Music, Drains and XP-RAFTS Business development and relationship management Managing the team's portfolio and quality outcomes Superlative communication skills, both written and verbal - especially in technical report writing.
