Automotive Sales Team Leader — Mulgrave, Monash Area

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join a successful team as a Sales Team Leader within a well-known prestigious automotive group, overseeing a newly created team within the contact centre targeting the fast-growing electric vehicles market. This role presents an exciting opportunity for candidates currently in a sales role either in automotive sales, or other sales professionals seeking a change. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of the team, ensuring optimal performance in handling inbound customer contacts and team productivity. • Manage compliance and governance activities, including data confidentiality, privacy requirements, and Financial Services obligations. • Develop and maintain inbound and outbound contact processes to ensure a premium customer experience aligned with a luxury brand. • Facilitate training sessions for associates to enhance their skills and knowledge in meeting customer needs. • Ensure accurate recording of all customer interactions in CRM systems and tools. • Provide regular reporting on contact activity, sales results, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. Customer Interaction: • Deliver professional and customer-centric support to inbound customers and prospects, leading by example in premium service standards. • Implement effective follow-up processes to manage enquiries and opportunities at a premium level of service. • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive product and service knowledge is available to customers and prospects. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer and dealer experience. Qualifications and Experience: • Previous experience in customer contact, product, or sales roles. • Stakeholder management experience. • Experience in Financial Services and/or OEM Automotive environment desirable. • Tertiary Qualification/Degree in Commerce/ Business or equivalent (preferred). Additional Skills: • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Strong analytical capability to identify customer insights and drive lead generation. • Proficiency in presentation skills to senior audiences. • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence change at both leadership and operational levels.
