Systems Administrator (HSE) — Perth CBD, Perth

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive self-starter to undertake the essential role of Senior HSET Systems Administrator within our business. This role is based in our Osborne Park Office (WA), with the opportunity to travel to our various sites and workshops. As our Senior HSET Systems Administrator you will provide support to HSET Managers by maintaining and managing Emeco’s Safety Health & Environmental Management System (ESHEMS) and ensuring compliance with ISO and legislative requirements. Your responsibilities will include coordinating HSET activities, providing support to team members, and facilitating effective communication across the board. What’s in it for you? Discounts and Benefits – Private Healthcare discounts / Inhouse training / salary sacrifice and car options; and Career Progression - We want to see you succeed and will facilitate your progress; and Responsibilities include: Ensure HSET standards and directives are up to date with ISO and legislative requirements; Ensure KPI’s for HSET activities are implemented into Safety Reporting systems and maintained accordingly; Coordinate the provision of accurate and timely HSET related information, in order to monitor progress towards achieving safety objectives at all levels as requested by Group HSET Manager; Meet and align with HSET team members on a weekly basis to ensure standardisation across the business; Implement Tender support to optimise turnaround on information by establishing and facilitating a process to track and respond to tenders for all business in an effective manner; Modify and interpret reporting to present on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis as needed; Develop and implement HSET Systems throughout Emeco, including the design, development and maintenance of HSET resources; Assist in the development of toolbox topics and actively promote a HSET culture that shall mitigate the risk of injury to themselves and other personnel; Uploading developed online training packages and assignment to roles within the Rapid system; Viking – Management of electronic system (including new user creation, QR codes, familiarisation packs, training, technical support, updating and creating new forms); and Raise HSET related purchase orders About you: Strong interpersonal and communication skill; Willingness to accommodate occasional travel, as requested; Demonstrates problem solving and analytical thinking by building a logical approach to address problems or opportunities; Ability to close out matters by quickly identifying the core issues, identifying a solution and implementing the solution; Ability to apply attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness completing tasks efficiently and effectively; and Display initiative by planning ahead for upcoming problems or opportunities and taking appropriate action. Requirements/Qualifications: Drivers Licence; Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (Preferred); Cert IV Training and Assessing (Preferred); and Formal Certification in Auditing (Preferred). Skills and Experience: Proficiency in MS Office and HSE management systems; Practical experience assessing and managing work activities based on risk; Experience supporting maintenance and use of heavy mobile equipment frequently used in the mining industry; Strong team member with the ability to mentor, coach and delegate tasks; Ability to develop presentations and present to a group or a work place; Configure and maintain HSE PowerBi reports with data from Viking; and Proficient report writing skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
