About the role: Aruma is looking for a passionate Key Worker/Educator to join our dedicated and professional team. You will be located at Forbes NSW on a permanent part time basis, 2 x days per week - must be Wednesday and Thursday. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working collaboratively, with Therapists and other Key Workers in complex case management, employing the principals of evidence-based practice to all service delivery. Working in a trans-disciplinary model with a range of allied health professionals and educators you will plan and implement individual support plans for individuals, working in consultation with families. You will provide a holistic and integrated approach to supports and learning to deliver services that promote learning opportunities within everyday routines or activities. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver and evaluate educational programs for individuals and small groups that are developmentally appropriate and strengths based. Work directly with families to plan and deliver services that promote learning opportunities within everyday routines or activities. Work together with Therapists and other Key Workers in complex case management. Independently apply advanced reasoning skills. Employ the principals of evidence based practice to all service delivery. Provide support which reflects the Disability Services Standards, Child Protection and other relevant legislative requirements and to report any potential breaches to Aruma management. Actively promote Aruma’s Purpose and Values in everyday work and in the community. About You: Relevant certification if/when required. Passionate about human rights and creating positive change.
