You will be required to provide high level of technical support to our customers. This is a full - time permanent role based in Frenches Forest. Travel is required. Description The key responsibilities and duties of the role: Perform installations, maintenance, repairs and user training as assigned by the Service Manager Provide technical support to customers either by phone, email or on-site. Provide training to customers on the use of instruments. Maintain service-related files (i.e., Service Reports, Test results, packing slips) Update information in the database as required. Report service issues encountered in the field. Provide a report when service is completed. Assist in the promotion of their products. Other ad-hoc duties as requested. Profile In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths: Similar experience will be highly regarded. Degree in Electronic Engineering/Physics or Mechanical Engineering preferred Interest in Japanese culture or business will be highly regarded Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills Have a high attention to detail. An exceptional organisational and planning skills To be self-motivated and can work well within a fast-paced environment. Travel interstate and overseas is required for customer visits.
