Global Politics and Individuals & Societies Teacher — St Kilda Road Central, Melbourne

Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana, Lochend and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes. Applications are invited from innovative and engaging Global Politics and Individuals & Societies (Humanities) teachers for a full-time, temporary leave replacement position for Term 3, 2024. This position is at our St Kilda Road campus. In addition to the teaching role, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to be considered for the position of Faculty Coordinator, Individuals & Societies which includes a 0.14 FTE time release and a position of responsibility allowance. Therefore, we are seeking an experienced teacher with curriculum development experience. This position requires an experienced and proficient teacher across Years 7-11. Demonstrated competence with technology and ICT to enhance the educational program is strongly desirable. Applications close at 5.00pm on 16 May 2023.
