Seeking experienced temporary position to cover for the Fleet & Operations Administrator role during a maternity leave period. Our client is currently seeking an experienced temporary position to cover for the Fleet & Operations Administrator role during a maternity leave period of approximately 7 months, from May 20, 2024, to December 13, 2024. The key responsibilities include: Scheduling and maintaining fleet vehicles for maintenance, repairs, and related services. Monitoring and tracking fleet vehicle utilisation and performance data. Maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repair history. Coordinating with vendors and service providers for parts, supplies, and services. Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to fleet management. Embodying the 'Yes We Can' ethos and promoting a 'Safety First' approach. Managing the fleet management system for the entire business. Ordering company fuel cards and e-tags through the fleet management system. Maintaining vehicle compliance reports and ensuring timely vehicle maintenance. Ensuring vehicles have current registrations. Liaising with appropriate personnel regarding motor vehicle incidents. Reviewing and reporting on monthly vehicle costs and determining vehicle replacements. Assisting with the vehicle replacement process, if required. Performing ad hoc reporting and administrative duties. Ensuring timely processing of infringements. Creating purchase orders and reconciling invoices for repairs, as required. The ideal candidate should possess: Strong leadership and influencing skills. Prior fleet or automotive experience (highly regarded). Aptitude in decision-making and understanding numbers. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Keen attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work autonomously or as a team member.
