Coordinator Administration and Prosecutions Permanent - Full Time Band 8 - $120,339.78 - $134,850.06 per annum super RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only) Supportive and Friendly team environment where we value growth and development Hybrid/flexible working arrangements and an emphasis on work/life balance Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment Yarra City Council’s Parking & Compliance branch currently has an opportunity for a dynamic and energetic person to provide leadership, maintain and provide direction to the team in relation to all the administration functions of the Compliance & Parking services team. This role will report to the Manager Compliance & Parking Services The position objectives for the role are: Provide leadership and direction to the Compliance & Parking administration to enhance customer service, ensure compliance with Council’s statutory obligations under the relevant legislation and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Unit’s processes and procedures. Develop systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of Council’s data base regarding statutory obligation under the relevant Acts, customer request management, permits, licences & registrations are issued within agreed time frames. To overall assist in the Leading, managing and coordination of the functions of the Compliance and Parking administration areas. This position will drive innovation in developing and implementing new systems, process, policies and initiatives to assist the Branch in achieving its goals through the following activities: Researching, benchmarking and educating management on emerging trends in innovation and best practices and processes across the Branch; Working with the manager to identify process problems and implementing strategies to resolve these issues, to improve the effectiveness and efficiency for the Branch; To provide strategic and technical advice, support and leadership to management and individual staff relating to innovation and problem definition/resolution strategies; Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the Branch Budget. Including reviewing fees and charges, permits, licences and registrations Ensure best possible systems and business support for the Compliance and Parking Branch is provided.
