About the role Role Location: Melbourne Role Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive. As a Container Security Engineer , you'll be helping to take ANZ’s container security services and controls to the next level across AWS, GCP & OpenShift. What will your day look like Specifically, you will be responsible for: • Working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver and support container security in the bank. • Delivering technical analysis activities and deliverables associated with multiple releases. • Providing container security protection to workloads on different pipelines, registries, and platforms. • Automating operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python and/or PowerShell. • Work with the Security Operations Centre to fine-tune container runtime baseline and with workloads to merge custom policies. • Documenting solution intents, playbooks, user comms and test outcome documents. • Managing risks, issues and dependencies proactively and providing regular reporting to leadership. • Scheduling & implementing non-production and production changes. • Putting the team’s objectives ahead of individual role description - having the “let’s get stuff done right” attitude. What will you bring? What you bring to the Container Security Squad? Key Skills - • Experience working on security services and solutions. • Experience in scripting languages such as Python and/or PowerShell • Experience in using CI/CD tooling, repositories, and registries such as Docker, Codefresh, GitHub, Artifactory. • Knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Linux Operating System. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate technical analysis and business outcomes with large, senior stakeholder groups. • Ability to appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with a moderate complexity. • Well-versed in using the Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence). Desired Skills • Experience working on large enterprise-wide container security projects or supporting cyber security operations. • Advanced administration and troubleshooting of Kubernetes and container technology. • Experience working with Prisma Cloud Compute/ Twistlock. • Experience implementing and operating Microsoft Azure Active Directory. • Extensive exposure working in agile environments with sound understanding of agile ceremonies – PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospective, Stand-ups.
