Our client is a highly regarded, thriving independent school with two Melbourne campuses in Brighton and Caulfield, catering for children from 18 months right through to Senior School where the students graduate with an International Baccalaureate (IB). Activities prepare students to be successful, confident, and creative learners. Role Overview: As a Librarian, you will play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant and welcoming library environment. Your responsibilities will include front desk duties such as customer service, cataloguing, and maintaining the library collection. You will contribute to a range of initiatives throughout the year, fostering an innovative and progressive outlook on the library service offered to the school community. Schedule: Part-time role during school term time. Flexibility on days, 7:30 am to 4 pm. Key Qualifications and Attributes: Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in contemporary library practices. Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with strong customer service. VIT Certified Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities. A high level of attention to detail. A can-do attitude and high level of flexibility.
