About the role As a dedicated and passionate teacher, you will be working closely with our small Year 7 and 8 intervention class. You will be rewarded by building close relationships with students that will constitute your main teaching timetable. Working closely with an experienced mentor to deliver Explicit Direct Instruction, Spelling Mastery and evidenced based lessons to support measurable, data informed improvements. As a Literacy and Numeracy Intervention Teacher, the successful applicant will ideally possess the capacity to provide a learning environment that is caring, engaging, and use available data to differentiate for a range of learning needs in Literacy and Numeracy. You will ideally have the ability to deliver the Western Australian Curriculum and have an excellent understanding of the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework.
