Please contact Steve on 0457 535 904 The Role Supporting the State Manager to drive sales performance and profitability of the VIC/TAS stores, key responsibilities in this role include: Achieving sales, stock, expense and profit contribution budgets Driving KPIs in your team, by developing, coaching, training and retaining a team of quality managers and team members in each store Completing regular store visits to ensure standards are consistently maintained across all stores Seeking out opportunities to develop and grow the business, understanding the local market and develop trade sales Supporting and driving success in specialist areas, including our lighting design studios Supporting the strategic activities focused on growing trade sales and market share Ensuring customer service levels are always met or exceeded in stores, and that merchandising standards are maintained Reinforcing the company policies, practices and expectations with our teams Championing safety in the region About You An experienced regional or area manager you have an extensive background in multi-site retail operations. Exposure to diverse customer environments which include transactional retail consumers as well as high frequency VIP trade customers will be highly advantageous. Your strong analytical skills, and proven business acumen and experience in operations are key to your success. You are a natural leader, inspiring and motivating your teams to achieve their best. With a positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, you provide effective feedback to manage and drive performance in stores. Motivated to achieve results, you seek out opportunities to continually improve your skills and you have a genuine desire to learn. You are also prepared to work occasional weekends, travel locally and interstate as required to conduct store visits, attend meetings and conferences.
