The opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated, safety-focused HR Driver for upcoming work with one of our valued clients. Immediate start for the right candidate. This position requires a competent driver/operator with the ability to work efficiently, without direct supervision whilst outside the depot. A sound knowledge of freight handling and transport is essential. Manual handling and working a flexible roster including overtime will be a requirement for this role based on current contract requirements. This position will transition to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. To be successful in this role you must possess the following skills and attributes: Strong customer service focus HR Licence Current forklift licence Ability to complete manual tasks as part of day-to-day operation Flexibility surrounding roster requirements Sound knowledge of computer systems. Well-developed focus on safety within a logistics environment. Ability to work unsupervised. Full knowledge of federal and state road regulations including load restraint and fatigue management. Physically fit with the ability to pass a full medical assessment (including drug and alcohol screening). Knowledge of Dangerous Goods code relating to transport.
