As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Delivery Driver with an HR licence to join our team in Newcastle. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform local and regional deliveries/pick-ups, requiring an HR licence. Operate forklift vehicles to load/unload trailers and vehicles (forklift licence required). Ensure accurate reporting on driver runsheets. Conduct pre-start checks on equipment to ensure safety and compliance. Essential Experience: Valid HR heavy vehicle driver's licence and forklift licence. Previous express freight experience preferred. Multidrop understanding of Newcastle or familiarity with the area. Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform physical labour. What does the ideal candidate look like? Previous experience in a similar role with a strong work ethic. No criminal background and able to hit the ground running. Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment. Good knowledge of Newcastle and surrounding areas. Buddy up system for truck overview and run-through. Training Process: Ongoing internal training to upskill as required. Working Hours: Driving shifts typically start from 6-7 am, averaging an 8-hour day. Remuneration: $32.00 per hour.
