The role is a customer facing role with personal banking customers who make a significant contribution to our Retail Bank Wealth Management (RBWM) business. Professionalism, customer focus and a broad understanding of the fundamentals of service, sales and financial planning are critical to the success of the business. The role holder has a responsibility to welcome customers into the branch and provide prompt accurate information on services available in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring customer’s experience, is of the the highest standard throughout all interactions. Key activities include answering enquiries, identifying customer needs, educating and encouraging use of new customer technology and cash handling. This jobholder is also responsible for assisting customer transactions at the Self Service Terminals in a friendly, service orientated, prompt and efficient manner. Responsibilities: Identify customer needs by referring business to appropriate colleagues Achieve your personal RBWM performance metrics Meeting customer expectations in terms of efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and professionalism of response either face to face or at the telephone Effective use of tools and information to drive customer service delivery and RBWM performance Establish and agree customer contact strategies in line with Group operating models Fully utilize and input to Customer Relationship Management data, ensuring all customer information is complete and kept up to date Requirements Requirements: Proven ability in customer relationship management Ability to recognise customer financial needs A basic knowledge of financial planning, lending and defining customer needs An understanding of the needs of the mass affluent customer segment in general A full understanding of the referral processes An understanding of the Premier and RBWM Products The Higher School Certificate or equivalent certification Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
