How will I help? An exciting opportunity is available for a Principal Solution Designer within the Service Management Platform team in Group Technology. You can work flexibly while training to upskill on new tools and technologies. The role will be responsible for the solution architecture or high-level designs on our ServiceNow platform. In addition, the Solution Design function plays an important role in providing consultative leadership to the Platform, ensuring that the solution designs align to business strategy and governance decisions. Your key responsibilities may include: Providing Solution Design controls and analysing impacts for new requirements. Creating and maintaining a detailed view of existing designs. Providing leadership & participating in implementing new requirements on the ServiceNow platform. Leading alignment of end-to-end design and ensuring that it meets business requirements including technical good practices, policies, and procedures. Contributing to governance processes and staying current on ServiceNow products and applicable integration technologies. Supporting IT estimations process and assist in delivery of IT costings for solutions. Investigating and recommending opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Using Agile principles, techniques and processes and actively promote their use to influence work approach and value creation. What's in it for me? To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in Solution Design of ServiceNow platform, ideally with additional exposure to ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and IRM/GRC modules. In addition to this, your skills may also include: Sound understanding of business strategy and policies that govern the ServiceNow platform. Ability to gather requirements, run workshops and present key findings to key stakeholders succinctly. Knowledge of solution architecture, system design and contemporary IT practices. Familiarity with, and the ability to communicate and implement, the ServiceNow CSDM. Being self-managed and able to mentor junior members in the team. Any exposure to Enterprise Security and Architecture, IT Service Management, ServiceNow Application Development and ITIL CMDB model implementation would be advantageous. What's it like to work there?
