Job Description We currently have an unprecedented opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to join Minor Hotels a National Sales Manager. This position is based in our Commercial Office in the Brisbane CBD. This newly established position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of entertainment, sports and MICE accounts. Focusing on fostering new business development, this position will spearhead innovative strategies within the entertainment, sports and MICE sectors for our properties across Australia and New Zealand. Key Responsibilities Include: Actively seek out new business opportunities that will contribute to increased account production for entertainment, sports and MICE across Minor Hotels properties within Australia & New Zealand Strengthen engagement with existing entertainment, sports and MICE partners Sourcing, negotiating, and converting corporate and group contracts to achieve sales and revenue targets, driving overall business growth Implementing strategies to drive occupancy and maximise revenue across Minor Hotels properties within Australia and New Zealand Work with the Director-Entertainment & Sports in the development and implementation of business plans and new strategies with the intent to grow this niche market segment Assist with the development of advertising collateral, working directly with the Marketing Department Where directed, maintain and increase allocated Entertainment & Sport accounts for all ANZ properties with a focus on need properties Undertake telemarketing, sales and marketing duties, public relations, as and when required, and maintain an active database Attending trade shows and industry functions as directed by Director Entertainment & Sport and ensure a high profile for each property.
