Sales and Service Consultant — Sydney CBD, Sydney

Their success is driven by providing outstanding service to their partners, and at its core by making insurance easy, bespoke, and suitable for the ever changing demands of their customers. The role This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a growing, recently established sales team at one of Australia's leading Life Insurance brands. The role will utilise your holistic sales and customer service skills and experience, and you will be reporting to the National Direct Sales Manager, and his team leader. This role will be focused on our client's "direct life" business, established in 2023. Key aspects of this role include; Deliver a customer centric service to all stakeholders across the Direct Life business Completion of customer applications over the phone building trust and advocacy with these stakeholders, and with a strong focus on sales and service outcomes Support the underwriting team conducting tele-underwriting calls with customers obtaining risk related details Process all applications, new business onboarding and exiting customer servicing requests accurately, compliantly and within service level standards Continually look for ways to improve their service offering Make best use of your key working relationships - these will include the wider operations team, underwriting, product and marketing, and key external stakeholders. Requirements / About You You will have, ideally, at least 2 years of experience working in a similar role (eg. sales or retentions) Exceptional customer service and sales skills A foundational understanding of the Life Insurance industry and its products and services Strong negotiating and influencing skills Well honed interpersonal verbal and written skills and ability to develop internal and external relationships High level of personal energy and a drive to succeed A knowledge of call centre technologies would be advantageous How to apply For immediate consideration, please submit your resume via the 'Apply Now' link below.
