UNA electrical and solar This role will involve: Installation of electrical cabling in domestic and commercial environments Installation of electrical devices Fault findings and rectification of electrical infrastructure Installation/maintenance/ repairs of solar and battery systems Designing PV module layout on the roof according to Australian standards and manufacturer’s specifications. Making calculations of voltage drop/rise and current carrying capacity to choose correct cable size and switchgear for the job. Terminating cables on the inverter and switchboard using manufacturers’ connection plugs. Performing mandatory tests to ensure that system is performing as expected and complies with rules and standards. Following safe work procedures, wearing PPE and tag-in tag-out process.
