In this role, you’ll be primary responsibility for the provision of preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the factory maintenance team. and , you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. What you’ll do Utilize proven expertise in safety practices, including risk management techniques such as LOTO, Take 5, Permit to Work, and near miss reporting, to maintain a safe work environment. Demonstrate proficiency in automation and control systems, including VSD, PLC control systems, HMIs, and Scada, to ensure efficient operation of equipment. Provide both preventative and corrective maintenance to actively ensure the proper functioning and longevity of equipment and systems. What will help you succeed Current QLD Electrical Licence Minimum of 2 years' demonstrated experience in a similar role Have excellent customer service and communication skills Be highly collaborative and a team player Nice to have (but not essential) Experience working in a FMCG environment Experience working on packaging equipment or FMCG experience in meat processing equipment Experience working in food manufacturing factories with an understanding of processes and hygiene requirements Some experience with the following equipment product filling, meat emulsion/mixing, high speed packaging (case packers, sealers, labellers etc), or check weighing/metal detectors.
