Legal Counsel | Fintech Firm | Hybrid Working — North Shore, Sydney Region

The Company Exciting fintech firm who are on the cutting edge of new software and services in the financial services realm, the business has been undergrowing rapid growth as they expand into new regions internationally and look to capture market share. The Role The Legal Counsel will be working directly with the Head of Legal, with responsibilities for supporting the necessary legal obligations for the business, and everything related to IT, contracts, and privacy. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to: · Drafting and negotiating contracts related to SaaS, general technology and MSA's. · Maintaining policies and procedures, ensuring alignments to regulatory environment. · Collaborating on various ad-hoc projects with global scope. · Providing legal advisory to business units across the organization related to privacy, intellectual property, and technology. · Working with external legal services and counsel. · Providing guidance on governance, compliance, and risk management for the broader business. · Ad-hoc duties as required.
