Medical Customer Service Officer — Hallam, Casey Area

We currently have an opportunity for a medical customer service officer out of our Hallam branch About Supagas Supagas is a fast growing national, leading supplier of cylinder gases such as LPG, Industrial Gases, Hospitality Gases and Helium. We are rapidly building a reputation for growth and success based on an exceptional customer service offering and quality product in a highly competitive market. About the Role : Due to growth of our business, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and vibrant person to join our branch located in Hallam as a Medical Customer Service officer reporting to the National Medical Gas Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Answer phones in a timely and professional manner. • Promoting the benefits of Supagas & Supagas products. • Report any hazards or problems immediately to your Supervisor at all times. • Handle enquiries in a professional manner, ensure follow through and finalise all enquiries. • Online orders, email / fax orders. • Pass on all customer requests to the appropriate department and employee. • Be pro-active in recognising new business opportunities and actioning them accordingly. • Liaise with Account Manager on all unresolved and dissatisfied customer issues that need to be escalated if cannot be handled at the time. • Liaise with all departments to maximise customer service. • Ensure customer records are maintained and updated as required. • Ensure all record keeping are correct and completed ie. Deliver dockets, account forms, etc • Ensure all customer communication is entered and updated in “client notes”. Candidates must possess: • Embody the ‘Yes We Can’ ethos in all aspects of the role and responsibilities. • Adapt, promote and encourage a Safety First approach. • Embrace and promote the Supagas “Customer Service Policy” • Be pro-active and reactive to the needs of our existing customer base. • Ensure customers have complied with all legal requirements i.e. compliance numbers, dangerous goods licences, MSDS’s etc. • Follow Supagas policy and procedure. • Provide validated sales leads to Sales Department. • Being pro-active in recognising customer needs and upselling. • At all times to represent Supagas in a positive and professional manner, recognising the key role you have as primary contact between the customers and Supagas.
