About Supply Chain Branch: Supply Chain is a branch in Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), Queensland Health. The branch is comprised of functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Supply Chain Services, Central Pharmacy, Group Linen Services and Operations. This branch brings together an end-to-end supply chain function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director. The Branch supports clients and stakeholders across the Department of Health, all Hospital and Health Services, Queensland Government and some external agencies. What we are looking for: Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently undertake general administrative and data entry duties in the absence of direct supervision, using initiative where necessary. Ability to work autonomously or cohesively in a team with administrative, operational and professional staff; and effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients to respond to requirements in a professional and efficient manner. Knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of procedures involved in the operation of a purchasing, distribution and warehousing business, including computerised inventory management systems and relevant software packages, and demonstrated proficiency in the use of common office systems and applications. Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
