Engineering Technologist – Food Production Our client is one of South Australian family owned and operated business that crafts and sells a range of premium Italian style fresh cheese, The company is looking for a highly motivated engineering technologist to complement their engineering team. Your role would include · contributing to production escalations using best practice problem solving and monitor the implementation of recommendations · developing, testing and implementing new and existing technologies and machinery (with an electronic and electrical bias) · developing and reviewing standard operating procedures and supporting training in same · developing quality control procedures to resolve production problems and maximize efficiency · analyzing production data and equipment to identify areas for improvement · ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards · maintaining safe work practices · working with key internal and external stakeholders to effectively support production. · Be a proactive team member of the engineering production team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing and production environment. The person who will be best suited for this position should be able to show us: · Tertiary qualifications in Engineering · 4 years experience will be highly regarded · Formal training in systems, process, or manufacturing engineering and design would be highly regarded · Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with working in a quality-controlled environment · Strong problem-solving and team working skills · Strong analytical skills. Salary $60,000-$65,000 per annum superannuation depending on experience.
