Electricians NEEDED - Fulltime — Eagle Farm, Brisbane

APG are currently recruiting for an electrician to working with our client in Eagle farm who provides a full range of raw and cooked food solutions across a range of proteins to the retail and food service sectors. With a strong focus on tram culture, safety and delivering on KPI’s they are both fast paced, and you will be required to be both physically and mentally fit. To ensure you become an integral part of their team and culture moving forward. This position is responsible, as part of a maintenance team, in ensuring the reliable electrical operation of the production facility. We currently have available permanent full-time positions - AM/will be rotating over morning and afternoon shifts & Night shift positions available PERM POSITION/ROTATING ROSTER Day/Arvo – Wk 1: Day shift Monday-Thursday. 5am starts 10hr shifts. Wk 2: Day shift Tuesday-Saturday. 5am starts 8hr shifts. Wk 3: Afternoons Monday-Friday. 3pm starts 8hr shifts. ($49.80 shift allowance if worked super) PERM POSITION/NIGHT ROSTER – Sunday night to Thursday night 11pm to 7am ($49.80ph 30% night shift allowance $64.70 hr super) Duties include but are not limited: Supports Engineering improvements through RCA failure analysis/betterment activities. Process data/KPIs that are provided to analyse plant performance to drive cost effective maintenance and plant efficiency. Supports the planning and execution of the maintenance tasks for the site asset care plan. Reviewing line/asset performance and driving changes to equipment, plant and maintenance systems with Engineering team for continuous improvement in asset uptime. Provide shift cover with strength/experience on electrical streams, building partnerships with Production department as a key internal customer. Be involved in continuous improvement activities/project to work towards engineering excellence. Troubleshoot complete control systems/plant and electrical systems to locate malfunctions & defects down to component level, repair and replace as needed. To be successful : Relevant Qld Electrical Licences. Systematic understanding of ISO Environmental Experienced in Project Management (manufacturing) Strong acumen in process systems engineering Experience leading and developing a team. Attention to detail/data for Continuous Improvement Ability to manage competing priorities. Knowledge on PLC, SCADA & complex electrical systems.
