Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a fast growing boutique engineering consultancy, based in South Perth CGC are working with a key client who pride themselves in being a trusted and respected boutique consulting engineering firm, with a proven track record in partnering with long-term top tier clients in the mining, industrial, utilities and oil & gas sectors across Australia. The Role - Mechanical Engineer Our client is seeking a mechanical engineer to be part of a diverse engineering team that provides engineering and project management support. In this specialist role you will typically focus on brownfield engineering upgrades, optimisation, design and analysis projects. The role also will provide you with the opportunity to be client facing to develop solutions and opportunities. About you You will be degree qualified engineer and eligible for Engineers Australia membership, with five to seven years relevant engineering experience, with particular skills in vessels and tanks , mining end user client or consulting environment. Most Importantly you will have: Ability to prepare a design or conduct a verification using AS1210 or ASME VIII without substantial supervision. Capability to conceive and sketch a practicable vessel design or repair. Proven experience to assess vessel wall thinning or cracking using AS/NZS 3788 or API 579 / ASME FFS-1. CEFR Level C2 English. Built strong relationships within the industry that can generate additional work.
