Storeperson / Warehouse Operator — Kilsyth, Yarra Ranges

We are on the hunt for 2 warehouse operators (1 day / 1 evening shift) on a permanent contract for our highly reputable company. Job title: Warehouse operator / Storeperson Location: Kilsyth Hours per week: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Evening shift 3pm - 11pm Salary: Base Salary $58,800 per annum 20% afternoon shift loading Sign on Bonus of $3000 – conditions apply Variable Compensation Bonus participation level of 8% Super paid on both salary and bonus Salary Continuance Insurance The role is placed in the warehouse supporting the manufacturing and distribtion of heavy duty filtration throughout australia and NZ and Papua New Guinea. Must have Forklift (LF) and Order picker license (LO) Role description: • Comply with OHS Policies, Procedures and SWPs • Check product availability using computer and RF Scanners. • Retrieve and read Pick Lists • Ensure double check on product selected. • Cleaning or area maintenance. • Operate Mobile Plant, including Load/Unload vehicles, move goods around Warehouse into selected racking. • Operation of powered forklifts and stock pickers containing product. • Push / pulling non-powered pallet trucks containing product. • Working at height stock picker forklift up to 7 meters high. • Administrative/clerical stock take duties • Physical Demands eg. Standing for extended periods; Lifting, carrying loads, Repetitive arm, wrist and body movements, Frequent walking over long distances on occasion; Rare push/pull over 25 kilograms rolling resistance force, Occasionally lifting up to 25 kilograms; Frequent lifting up to 15 kilograms; Occasionally lift up to 15 kg from hip level to over shoulder level, Pushing and pulling, Occasional kneeling, crouching & squatting. • Use hands to remove shrink wrap of pallets, wearing gloves at all times opening cartons. • Wear safety footwear, safety vests, harness and other safety equipment as required • Work in occasionally dusty environment, exposed to external weather and conditions. �� How to Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity and become a valuable member of our team, please APPLY NOW.
