About the Role: The Manager, Business and Legal is a pivotal role to the successful delivery of contemporary vocational education and training. This position will be leading and managing staff, planning, programs and financial accountability of the Business Services Portfolio within the College of Health, Early Childhood Education and Community Services. The position is also responsible for generating strategic business activity and growth and is fully responsible for achievement of organisational objectives and programs under the scope of the position. This position will be offered on an ongoing full-time basis at the classification level of Senior Educator Level 3, salary of $120,509 per annum, 38 hours per week plus 11% employer superannuation contribution. You will have: Experience in tertiary teaching environments focused on contemporary learner-centred and flexible education, including online platforms. A mastery of pedagogy, innovative instructional design and delivery methods, and online teaching tools. Exceptional people management skills and experience are essential. Ability and passion to contribute to business development activities and excel in a commercial environment. A high standard of interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to develop effective stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes. Experience in process and project management within environments marked by competing priorities, tight deadlines, and diverse stakeholders. Initiative, curiosity and willing to tackle challenges within a multi-disciplinary and multi-campus team. A multi-sector perspective and understanding of key issues in Vocational Education and Training (VET), Higher Education, and Industry, which informs development and implementation initiatives.
