Featuring five floors of sporting and health facilities, four restaurants , multiple function rooms, a showroom, a great selection of sub and sporting clubs and a host of other facilities for its members, the Blacktown Workers Club is the entertainment and leisure capital of Western Sydney. Above award wages - hourly rates About the Role Your main focus will be to provide fast and efficient service to patrons in a knowledgeable and professional manner, while maintaining the cleanliness of the Club and following the Club’s Guidelines, Policies and Procedures. In this role you will be required to : Welcome club guests in a friendly courteous manner. Offering answers and advice on club related topics when asked and giving directions to patrons. Ensure that all sign-in procedures are followed as per the Registered Clubs Act 1976 and Blacktown Workers Club Group Entry policies Take delivery of incoming mail and newspapers and distribute as required. Ensure compliance with the Clubs Responsible Service of Alcohol policy as listed in the staff manual. Make necessary announcements over the public address system in a professional and articulate manner. Receives telephone calls and assists with membership enquiries including signing up new memberships as directed after hours and transfers calls as required. About You To be successful in this role, you will require the following qualifications, skills & experience: Be a customer service ambassador, welcoming and friendly nature Immaculate presentation , uniforms are provided Hold a current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol competency (RSA) essential or willing to obtain Hold a current NSW Responsible Conduct of Gambling competency (RCG) essential or willing to obtain Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent skills in customer service, attention to detail, communication (in English), time management, dealing with difficult conversations and customer complaints. Ability to follow instruction and use initiative. Basic skills in computer system/programs.
