We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Bookkeeper/ Receptionist to become a valued member of our client's business. THE CLIENT Our client is well-established and highly regarded across the Bendigo region providing unmatched products, support, and service for almost 50 years. Their team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and helping their clients meet their security and window needs. THE ROLE As the Bookkeeper/ Receptionist, this 50/50 split role will see you as the face and voice of our client, as well as overseeing all bookkeeping functions. Your responsibilities will include: Managing accounts receivable, including customer invoicing and payment follow-up. Handling accounts payable and bank reconciliation. Providing exceptional customer service both over the phone and in our showroom, supporting our sales team. Booking sales appointments and assisting with order processing. Answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately, as well as providing assistance to callers. Working closely with the team, both independently and collaboratively, to ensure smooth operations. ABOUT YOU To succeed in this role, you should possess the following: Previous receptionist or customer service experience is essential. Bookkeeping experience is desirable, but training can be provided. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
