Legal Services is responsible for the delivery of independent strategic legal advice and support to the Director-General and the department. Our team has a key role in ensuring that the department operates within robust and effective governance and integrity frameworks. Your opportunity: As a Principal Legal Officer you will work across Government, take a whole of government view and partner collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to assist in the delivery of the Government's objectives. You will operate as a trusted legal adviser, acting with professionalism, integrity and in line with the ethical principles fundamental to good public administration. About you: You will have proven success in delivering strong outcomes and advising on sensitive, complex and high level legal and public administration issues including drafting legal documents, submissions and contracts.
