Club Receptionist — Sandringham, Rockdale Area

We are looking for our next superstar full-time Receptionist Situated on the serene banks of the Georges River, Georges River 16ft Sailing Club is an iconic destination renowned for its picturesque views, vibrant community, and exceptional hospitality. Position: Full-Time or Part-time Experienced Receptionist Working across a rotating roster varying from nights, weekends and weekdays 38 hours/week. Paid at Level 3 Registered and Licensed Clubs Award (2020) Key Responsibilities: Warmly welcome and assist members and guests upon arrival with a genuine smile and positive attitude Manage incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and efficiently handling inquiries Handle membership inquiries, applications, and renewals with attention to detail and a commitment to excellent service Coordinate bookings for dining, events, and club facilities, ensuring accuracy and timely communication Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors Assist with administrative duties including data entry, filing, and general office tasks as required Uphold club policies and procedures with integrity and discretion, maintaining confidentiality as needed Requirements: Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or leisure environment Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport and creating positive connections Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and experience with booking systems (knowledge of Jonas Leisure software is advantageous) Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility as needed A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a commitment to exceeding expectations Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required Benefits: Competitive salary package commensurate with experience Opportunity to work in a stunning waterfront location surrounded by natural beauty Staff discounts on dining and club facilities Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career growth Supportive and inclusive work environment with a focus on teamwork and camaraderie If this sounds like you and you are ready for the next step, apply now Applicants will be subject to Police/AML Background Checks.
